What is Intralasik Eye Surgery

Intralasik eye surgery also commonly referred to as IntraLase Lasik or All-Laser LASIK is a full laser lasik eye surgery which provides an alternative to wearing glasses or contact lenses. It is a "No Blade" procedure as opposed to a mechanical microkeratome which uses a steel blade. A protective corneal flap is generated with femtosecond laser or femtolasik and an excimer laser by the means of dioptric expression of the disorder. As a result, it produces a flap that is much more precise in depth, cleaner terms of sterility, thinner and more accurate. Since the IntraLase Femtosecond is computer-guided infrared therefore uses no blade, it is much more precise and for that reason more tissue remains untouched below the flap; it can cut the flap at a very close position to the top surface of the cornea.
