There are several online money making scams. So how does someone actually know and identify the real websites from the fake? It is not simple at first but with persistence, one will get to know which websites actually pay and those that do not. For starters, if you are not too sure, you should avoid websites that ask for your credit card details. Use the search engine to get a review of the website before you actually join it. This way, you will limit your chances of being scammed.

Who can make money online?
This field is open to all as long as they have a computer and access to the internet. Anyone can make money online regardless of their professional status. However, many Africans, especially Kenyans, find it difficult to make money online because of one major obstacle; they cannot access the money they make online. PayPal is the major online payment account used by most websites as opposed to other online money payment accounts. Unfortunately, PayPal blacklisted Africa due to fraud and scams and participants form these countries cannot verify their accounts. As a result, this limits the amount of money that they can transact using the PayPal account.

There are endless opportunities online. You can be a writer, consultant, freelancer, sales person and so forth. Once you identify your area of expertise, you can then settle on a website that will enable you to offer your services. You could also start your own website and earn money from ads like Google AdSense and affiliate programs. Writers have the greatest advantage, there are several websites that can publish them and pay them at the same time. There are websites that will payeven pay $100 per article.


Accessing your money


Most websites pay through PayPal. This is an online service that allows people and companies/organisations to receive and make payments online in various currencies. You can link your bank account and credit card to this account. This will enable you to transfer the money you make online to your personal account. Freelancing websites such as Elance and oDesk, allows you to directly wire your money into your bank account. This is a plus for those individuals who would like to make money online but cannot verify their PayPal accounts.
